Scope and program identity
This Privacy Policy describes how S Meyers Enterprises, LLC DBA Ready Text collects, uses, protects, and discloses information through ready-text.com, Ready Text services, and the Ready Text SMS program.
Ready Text SMS is a non-marketing client-service messaging program. Participating law firms use it to send attorney-reviewed case updates, appointment reminders, document requests, opt-in confirmations, and related messages only to their own consenting clients or authorized case contacts. Ready Text SMS is not used for affiliate marketing, third-party lead generation, or promotional messaging.
Information we collect and use
Depending on how you interact with Ready Text, we may process contact and account details, service configuration, website usage data, support communications, mobile phone numbers, contact and case context, SMS consent choices, consent source and timestamp, opt-out requests, and message records. We use this information to provide and secure the service, deliver requested communications, honor recipient choices, support participating organizations, and maintain legal and compliance records.
Mobile information and SMS consent
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We share mobile information only with service providers that operate the Ready Text SMS program, such as messaging carriers and platform vendors, solely to deliver, support, and secure requested messages. Those providers may not use mobile information or SMS consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Staff relay messaging
Ready Text also operates an internal staff relay SMS channel. This channel lets an attorney or authorized staff member at a participating law firm reply to client conversations from their own mobile device, without exposing that device's number to the client. Staff relay numbers are assigned to a team member as part of their role at the participating law firm inside the Ready Text product; this is not a public consumer opt-in program and no external end user enrolls in it.
The same protection applies: mobile phone numbers, message content, and consent records handled through the staff relay channel are not shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Staff may reply STOP to a relay number at any time to disable relay delivery to that device.
