Terms and Conditions

Last updated July 28, 2026

Agreement and service identity

These Terms and Conditions govern access to ready-text.com and Ready Text services operated by S Meyers Enterprises, LLC DBA Ready Text. By using the website or services, you agree to these Terms and the Ready Text Privacy Policy.

Ready Text SMS program

Ready Text SMS is a non-marketing client-service messaging program. Participating law firms use it to send attorney-reviewed case updates, appointment reminders, document requests, opt-in confirmations, and related messages only to their own consenting clients or authorized case contacts. Ready Text SMS does not send affiliate marketing, third-party marketing, lead-generation messages, or promotional messages.

Consent and eligibility

By affirmatively opting in, you agree to receive Ready Text SMS messages for your matter from Ready Text and the participating law firm identified in those messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods, services, or legal services. You may decline SMS and use another available communication channel.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies by matter and communication needs. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile service plan.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out. Reply HELP for help, contact the participating law firm directly, or email support@ready-text.com.

Privacy and mobile information

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We share mobile information only with service providers that operate the Ready Text SMS program, such as messaging carriers and platform vendors, solely to deliver, support, and secure requested messages. Those providers may not use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Review the Ready Text Privacy Policy for details.

Delivery and carrier responsibility

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery may be affected by carrier availability, device compatibility, network coverage, and other conditions outside Ready Text’s control.

Responsible use and legal services

You may not misuse the website or services, interfere with their operation, access them without authorization, or use them in violation of law. Ready Text is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Participating law firms are responsible for message content, client authorization, privilege, and applicable legal and ethical requirements.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@ready-text.com.
